yep, agreed.

hm, i like this, but it seems like instead of the user learning a
"click-OK-to-get-on-with-it" patter, they might now learn the
"click-OK,click-OK,click-OK,click-OK-to-get-on-with-it" pattern.

I guess you could have them select each sub group from a pool of close
matches (plus "none of these" maybe?) at each stage, though, so that
they do actually have to look at the data.
